The active layer is a solvent-based acrylic/polyurethane hybrid: ultra-thin, optically clear, and chemically inert against the sulfur that dulls silver and the oxygen that grays brass. What protects the metal is invisible. What we put around it — the frosted weight of the jar, the lift of the gold basket, the quiet of the cure stand — is not.
Place the piece on the gold basket. Lower it gently into the formula.
Raise the basket. Hold for ten seconds while excess drips back.
Rest it on the matching stand. The film sets in under five minutes.
